How to Grow Sweet Bay Laurel:
Take cuttings from green shoots in the fall and keep the soil in which you plant them moist, since rooting can take as long as 3-9 months.
Transplant to 4 feet apart.

Trim away roots from large, potbound plants and add fresh compost to stimulate new growth.
