window sill in a container in your kitchen.
How to Grow Parsley:
You can purchase parsley in seeds and sow outdoors
as soon as all danger of frost is gone or start them in containers
in your house.
You can also purchase established plants from a
greenhouse and transplant them into your garden. They
do tend to transplant poorly, but if you are careful your parsley
will thrive.
Be sure to plant seeds in early spring.
For parsley to help them grow soak the seeds overnight
in warm water in early spring.
Remove all flower stalks once they start to bloom
and prune away all dead leaves.
Plant several parsley plants and allow a few of
them to go to flower so that they will attract beneficial insects
to your herb garden.
Pest and Disease Prevention:
Be sure to space the plants properly to allow good
air circulation and prevent plant diseases. Parsley can
be attacked by Carrot pests.
