Rosemary

Description:
Rosemary grows well in zones 7-10 planted in full sun to partial shade.
Rosemary needs light well-drained soil with a pH of 6.0-7.0 .
Rosemary can be used not only in flavoring foods but for its properties and its nature of a natural insect repellant.
How to Grow Rosemary:
Rosemary can be grown from seed started indoors or planted outside after all danger of frost is gone.
You can also purchase established plants from a local greenhouse.
Space the plants about 3 feet apart to allow good air circulation.
Larger plants will do well during the winter months but the first year if possible transplant to containers and bring in your house.
Pests and Disease Prevention:
Indoor plants need to watch for scale pests and wipe the leaves off with a damp towel soaked in rubbing alchohol.
