Description:

Thyme grows well in zones 6-9 planted in full sun to partial shade.

Thyme needs ordinary well-drained neutral to alkaline soil with a pH of 6.0-8.0 .

Thyme is another easy to grow herb that is a favorite among gardeners and cooks.  Thyme is a great plant to use around rose bushes.

How to Grow Thyme:

You can start thyme indoors as seeds in containers then transplant once soil temperature outside has reached 70 degrees usually late spring.

You can also purchase established plants from your local greenhouse.
