The Earthquake in Virginia

Thursday, August 25th, 2011

At Castle Baths, we take pride in serving our customers. Our number one concern is the satisfaction of those seeking out the best bath products and when we are faced with unforeseeable instances, we continue to do what we do best. We look forward to putting out best foot forward so that when people receive their packages, they are beyond satisfied. I know that’s a big claim, but ask anyone who has received a box with a return address of Castle Baths.

As many of you know, Castle Baths is based out of Virginia. Recently, an earthquake broke through unfamiliar territory. It was the first in Virginia since the 1800’s and most Virginians had never experienced an earthquake before. “The room just started to shake,” Laura Dilley Thomas recalls, “I was in the middle of a business call and thought aloud that I thought I just felt an earthquake. The guy on the other end must have thought I was a little nutty!”

In the other room, Hand and Body Lotion was brewing. At first, she didn’t think of it. All she could feel was the chair rocking. All she could see was the decorative plane flying in circles. “I had never experienced that before in my life, I was taken away be the shakiness of the ordeal,” She stated, “Once it smoothed over, I went to check on the lotion I was making. Thankfully, none of it had spilled.” If it did spill, she would have had to start over from square one, not that she would have minded anyway.

There wasn’t any damage at Castle Baths. The only thing that the earthquake did was give the Castle Baths employees a little shake down. Later that night, she went to her stack of Books For Bath and relaxed in a warm bath filled with Dead Sea Salts.

Natural vs Unnatural Bath Products. Whats the difference?

Wednesday, August 24th, 2011

I sometimes get a little annoyed with the commercials that are constantly telling me that their products are all-natural, just to find out later that they actually aren’t. You guys all know what I am talking about. They always say “We’re the best, because we are natural, see this, and now, buy our stuff!” What they don’t realize is that any average adult with a basic common sense thought process will not believe everything they hear on TV. I would like to think that most of us would research such claims and look into what these companies are trying to brainwash us with.

I know I did. That is mainly because I like to know what I am putting onto my skin or into my laundry basket. I would much rather buy Natural Soaps than the misleading alternative. I’ve always been the type to want factual answers that tell me something of value. I would often ask myself, “What can this do for me, my family or my friends?” I’ve researched a lot of companies. I have to, it’s my job. I really just want to see where Castle Baths stands amongst the rest.

Castle Baths has genuine products that all serve a purpose and is a Spa and Bath company that values customers. Skin care is something we all should be worried about. Our skin is what holds our body together, and keeps our insides intact. Without it, we would all look like a bunch of sickos.

Castle Baths offers Natural Soaps, Face cleaners, Body Butters, and Dead Sea Products. Anyone can be rest assured with using these products on themselves, as well as offering it to their friends and family. You will have the knowledge of knowing that your skin will be able to breathe easily, look healthy and truly last a life time. I’ve always loved to be able to use Dead Sea Mud or take a bath with Dead Sea Salts. In fact it is because of my love for Dead Sea Bath Salts- I opened Castle Baths  back in 2005, inspired from a book I had published in 2004; How to have Purr-fect Faith, even at a cat show.

Letter written home from daughter

Friday, August 19th, 2011

I recieved this blog from my daughter to share with you guys- so I thought I’d share:-)

“Recently, I moved to Indiana to attend Indiana State University. I don’t actually start classes until sometime next week, but I moved a few weeks early so I could get acquainted with my surroundings. I wanted to be able to explore the city as well as the campus prior to the start of classes. This would prevent me from stressing over something that could have been avoided with proper planning.

Last week, I received a package from my mom that contained all sorts of goodies. Included in this box were soaps, foot care products, scrubs, and Dead Sea Mud. Of course, there was a few various other items that she felt I needed like a soap dish, camera and a book. The Dead Sea Mud and scrub was the most exciting. I figured this would help me pamper myself prior to and during the start of classes as a way to relieve any stress I may still encounter due to the new schedules and work load.

In my experience, the Dead Sea Mud helps to pull the oils from my pores and open them. This greatly reduced my blemishes and pimples and gave my skin a more even tone. I was happy to find that I had actually used less make-up after using the mud than I did before. It was because I no longer needed as much because my skin tone was clearer.

I thought it was a fantastic idea for her to send me the items. She is even telling me that she has more in store for me as the weeks pass by. I could only imagine what she will send me next! I hope it’s something relating to skin care and aromatherapy! Well, because honestly, any college female needs items that can help her skin looking great with little effort.

I remember once, when I was getting my associate’s degree, I had experimented with these foot scrubies and bon-bons. From the constant walking and dashing across campus, my feet had gotten swollen and sore. I was desperate to find something that would work. The bon-bons and foot scrubies helped to not only clean my feet, but also soothe them and restore them.”

I think she wants me to send her some bonbons next:-) Until next time…
