Do you have acne that just won't go away? A black kaolin clay mask may be just what you need! Acne isn't always caused solely by oil buildup, and a black kaolin clay mask does much more than simply remove excessive oil from your face. Black kaolin clay feeds your skin with the minerals it needs to combat acne on its own, and can help stabilize other causes of acne such as your skin's pH level. No drugs. No expensive skin treatments. Just pure, natural skin care!
- Goes above and beyond simply absorbing excess oil for combating acne
- Naturally denser and with a lower pH value than red kaolin clay to better normalize your skin's acid/alkaline ratio and thus, reduce the likelihood of an acne breakout
- Feeds your skin with numerous minerals essential for healthy, normal, blemish-free skin
- The best anti-acne clay mask we offer - it does so much more than just remove excess oil!
Why choose kaolin clay?
Natural kaolin clay, also known as "china clay" is one of the most popular types of clay the beauty industry uses for both skin care and hair conditioning. It is highly absorbent yet gentle, providing mild exfoliation as it draws toxins and excess oil out of your skin and hair. Our Exotic Earth black kaolin variety of this popular clay is the most ideal facial mask for clearing up your skin if you're under 40 and/or you have skin sensitivities that would cause our more powerful Dead Sea Mud mask to be a bit too rich for your skin type.
Ingredients: pure black kaolin clay
Color (dry): grayish black
Instructions for Use
Facial Mask: Apply 1 teaspoon of clay to 0.75 teaspoons of liquid. Mix and apply to face. Let dry 4 to 8 minutes. Rinse. To remove the mask press a warm, wet washcloth onto the mask and hold for a minute or two to loosen the mask, then rinse with warm water. Once the mask is removed, rinse with cool water to restore normal skin tone.
Note: NEVER LET A CLAY MASK DRY FULLY. If your clay mask is cracking and flaking, chances are you've left it on too long, and it's now sucking moisture out of your skin, causing dehydration and irritation. When your mask starts to lighten in color but still feels a bit sticky, it's time to wash it off.
Body Wrap: This face mask can also be used as a body wrap. To use this face mask as a body wrap mix the clay with approximately 60% water or hydrosol and mix to form a paste. Dredge gauze through the paste and apply the gauze to the areas you wish to wrap. Avoid delicate areas. Leave the wrap on to dry and spray with additional liquid if it dries too fast. Remove the gauze when the wrapping session is complete and rinse with warm water.
