My name is Laura, and I am Castle Baths. I am not a corporation. I’m a real human being, and Castle Baths is my life. I eat, breathe, and live Castle Baths. I place quality above everything and use all of my products myself before offering them to customers to ensure everything is safe and actually works.

Castle Baths is one of only 322 companies to be awarded Champion status by the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, a coalition of 170 U.S. based nonprofit organizations that advocate for the use of safe and sustainable ingredients in skin care and bath products. Members of the coalition include the Breast Cancer Fund, the Environmental Working Group, and other national 501c3 nonprofit organizations.

Plus, we test all of our products on ourselves - never on animals! Castle Baths is cruelty-free certified through the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics’ (CCIC) Leaping Bunny program. leaping bunny certified cruelty free

Leaping Bunny not only requires us to provide documentation to prove that we never test on animals, but also requires the same for all our suppliers. There is not a single product that we offer that I have not tested on myself and continue to use myself regularly. You won’t find anything but CB products in my medicine cabinet!

No, all of the products we include in our skin care and spa gift baskets are the actual full size offered individually elsewhere on this site unless otherwise specified.

Absolutely! We are more than happy to customize any of our baskets to meet your needs or create a whole new basket just for you. Just call or email us and tell us what you're looking for, and we'll price it out and take care of everything.

Sure! We can easily add products to any of our existing baskets. Just call or email us and tell us what you want and we'll price everything out.

 

Can I add a custom message to the card?

Yes. You may include a custom, handwritten message for the included greeting card with any basket free of charge. You can add your message to the comment section during checkout. We'll take care of the rest!

How do you pack your baskets?

We take our commitment to you and our planet seriously in every aspect of our business, including our packaging. Our baskets are made from fast-growing, sustainable bamboo and our USPS boxes, packing peanuts and tissue paper are all made from recycled materials. Additionally, we are a gold-level Green America Certified business, which means not only do we adhere to Green America's strict standards for safety and sustainability, but we also use our business as a platform to promote social and environmental activism.

green america gold certified businessWe shrink-wrap all of our baskets to protect their contents during shipping and top everything off with a beautiful bow and greeting card (in which you can request a custom, handwritten message free of charge.) Then your basket will be boxed with packing peanuts as an extra layer of protection and shipped.

What type of baskets do you use?

Most of the baskets we use are bamboo. We will change out some baskets seasonally to match a particular holiday, season or event.

 

What shipping methods do you use?

We ship USPS Priority Air Mail. We try to get all our baskets out the door and delivered within a 1-3 business day window. Most of our baskets ship free, but a few carry a flat shipping rate of $6.95 for orders within the continental U.S.

Can I have my gift shipped faster?

Yes, but we will need to invoice the shipper and pass on the extra cost of the faster shipping to you. Currently, the only choice we can offer is USPS Express Shipping, which typically takes 1-2 business days for orders placed within the continental U.S. Our default shipping option is USPS Priority Air Mail, which typically takes 1-3 business days and is included in the gift order unless otherwise specified.

Express shipping normally runs about $30 more than the original cost of the order. If you wish your order to be shipped express, you will need to call us and request this service. We will only charge what it actually costs us to express ship your order.

How can I place my order?

Castlebaths.com is a full e-Commerce store. Just visit our Shop Spa Gift Baskets page and categories and if  you see one you want, add it to your online shopping cart. Once that’s done, you can either proceed to checkout or continue shopping (maybe for a gift for yourself while you’re at it?)

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept most major credit cards, checks and money orders, as well as PayPal. You can even pay with your Amazon.com account if you’d like.

How far in advance should I place my order?

We will process  and ship your order within 24 hours from the time you place it, with some limitations. For our U.S. customers, the time in transit is usually within 1-3 business days. Once your order ships, you should receive a confirmation email along with tracking information so you can see where your package is at every step of the way.

We ship USPS priority mail and only charge a flat $6.95 shipping fee for any destination in the continental U.S., and orders over $69 ship free. Please note orders from Alaska and Hawaii carry a flat rate of $9.95 but still ship free for orders over $69. If you desire express shipping, this normally runs about $30 more, and you will need to call and request this service. We will only charge what it actually costs us to express ship your order.

For international customers, we ship USPS Priority Air, and most orders will arrive within 7-10 business days. For our international shipping rates, please see our shipping policy page. Please note that your country’s customs authority may occasionally hold your order a little longer.
