Natural DIY Facial care remedies you can easily make it at Home!

If you don’t have time to go shopping and you need a little skin care first aid, try some of these home remedies:

  • Try using eyedrops to reduce redness in facial blemishes. If you freeze a drop in a spoon and hold it frozen over the blemish, it will help shrink the swelling. (use the eyedrops that get the red out, because it contains an allergy relief ingredient for inflammation.)
  • By mixing baking soda with one quarter cup of water you can create a basic exfoliator. Gently rub it onto your face for three minutes and then rinse off. It won’t be anywhere near the experience of indulging in a coffee cocoa facial scrub (my personal favorite), but it will do in a pinch if nothing else is available. Throw in a few coffee grounds (used from your morning coffee machine or fresh – either will do fine) and this too will add some glow to your skin. Used coffee grounds don’t discolor your skin even tho it washes right off, and fresh adds more antioxidants.
  • You can use Oatmeal mixed with water to create your own clay mask. Especially good for sensitive skin or chronically dry skin. To turn this mask into a real spa facial called and known as Oxygen Glow – add a few teaspoons of 3% peroxide.
  • To experience an anti-aging spa facial- add rose hydrosol in place of the water to any mask. You can purchase some really good and fresh rose hydrosol on the Castle Baths site. Here’s a link: https://www.castlebaths.com/rose-hydrosol.html Keep in mind- this stuff is like liquid gold, keep it refrigerated once it arrives!

Til next time,
