I purchased this soap because I was looking for a gentle, cleansing soap for daily use. Wow! This soap is amazing! It has no harsh or irritating ingredients like you find in so many other soaps, and it is SO soothing for sensitive skin! We live in the Midwest with cold and dry winters, so my family and I frequently suffer from dry, itchy skin. This soap is so gentle and moisturizing, we often skip using a body moisturizer because it's unnecessary. Plus, we also have hard water that can cause itchy skin, but the lavender and rosemary in the this soap are excellent at relieving the redness and soothing tight, itchy skin. The fragrance is also very light and pleasant. This soap is a bit pricer than other soaps, but it's well worth the expense given how long it lasts and how effective it is. after thinking more on rating this bar a 3 in price I have come to realize if if cost less it might be a horrible bar of soap , packed full of junk- which it clearly IS NOT! and with the excellent ingredients in the bar, it is actually priced very inexpensive! I wish this bar was a tad less expensive. I simply can't get enough of it. But I do understand with ingredients as super as what is put in this bar of soap, it simply can't be any less expensive without making the bar less than what it is. And it is SUPER! I love green, I love Castle Baths, and I love to be pampered! I want to also mention the customer service is incredible and they ship faster than any other online store I think.
